My 2 cents on In-Game Monetization:

MY2CENTS ON IN-GAME MONETIZATION: To many, an in-game monetization model is a dirty term and in some cases, they really make a good point. Especially if you have taken notes  over the past few years where things went horribly wrong. You would've noticed all  the controversy around it, some gaming companies like EA, Activision, 2K Interactive and Bethesda made some very, very ludicrous decisions in regards to these microtransactions which caused a world wide protest amongst gamers alike. They went in no time from Pay 2 Win time saver to Loot-Box gambling. And from full-fledged customization packs DLC's to recolored…

Anno 1800 Pulled from Steam.

Anno 1800 Pulled from Steam! I was really crossing my fingers that this wouldn't happen with this title, sadly, it has been proven so many times that when there is money involved that no one on the "suit" level will shed a tear on how their customers will feel or how they will react. For them, it is a calculated risk, a risk that publishers like Ubisoft are wholeheartedly willing to take. And  from their perpespective they feel they do so with good  reason. They run  down the big numbers and from their point of  view I see where they…

Assassin’s Creed Origins

Assassin's Creed Origins Assassins Creed Origins pleasantly surprised me with its open-world. Egypt shines, the sound is very compelling and everything around  you does feel like it all has a meaning. Obviously,  the Game thrives on the  foundation of previous released game titles, such as Breath of the Wild, The Witcher series, and the Dark Souls Games. Origins mimics, but, it does so by not giving you the impression that they just copied from another. These mechanics were  cleverly  implemented in a way that it felt genuine to me. While Assasins Creed Origins really has  a good  foundation it still saddened…

World of Warships

World of Warships Review I mostly steer away from Titles that strongly emphasize PVP as its core Gameplay. They sadly end up more than often toxified by its own community and from my personal experience, it is needless to say that I am not entirely surprised that this was often not any different in World of Warships during my sessions which is a sad thing since the game on its own is really stable and smooth to play and with its core mechanics in place one of the better free to play PVP orientated titles that I have played so far!Tempted…

The Evil within Games?!

the Evil within Games!   It seems to be that time again, the time when Media outlets like the Daily Mail need to aim their pen towards the Violence within the Gaming Industry, this to sway a certain public, that kind of public that irrationally thinks that Violence within a game causes real harm towards real-life situations, yeah I know, when I say it out loud it sounds even more ridiculous to me! There is plenty of research around which were rarely conducted under objective conditions and only measured the short-term effects of the relation between violence in…

Arma 3 Apex

Arma 3 APEX The strongest selling points of Arma 3 and any previous installment released by Bohemia Interactive Studios, is their dedication, to improve and build on what they have. The studio is also one of the few self-published developers I know who wholeheartedly supports  their community’s “Creativity” which results in nearly  unlimited access  to often uniquely created  community content.Bohemia Interactive  somewhat  single-handedly  launched their own genre  back when they  first  released Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis, a tactical mil-sim shooter that has grown to be  the only dominating player on this field.  The only one who really tried to…
